Mr. Tony Olang’ has a career spanning over 25 years in the financial services and renewable energy sectors. He is currently the Head of Data Centre, Digitization & Archival Services at CPF Financial Services Limited (CPF), which has been at the forefront of automating records management and has digitized over 120 million records for automation and improvement of client processes.
Prior to his current role, he was the Executive Director at LITES (a wholly owned subsidiary of CPF), working on a broad range of Energy, Project Management, Data Security, ERP and EDMS Solutions and has contributed articles on topics of interest in the local dailies.
Some of his successfully completed and ongoing projects include; National Registration Bureau - Digitization, Kenya Power LMCP II, NSSF Uganda EDMS, Agricultural Finance Corporation EDMS & Digitization, AGRA Digitization, Liberty Life Digitization, African Merchant Assurance Company EDMS & Digitization, Kenya National Police DT Sacco EDMS & Digitization, CPF, Laptrust, Ndhiwa CDF Solar Street Lighting Project (Phase I & II) and Homa Bay Town CDF Solar Street Lighting Project amongst others.
He has previously worked with Rural Development Solutions Limited, Alexander Forbes Financial Services Limited, The Actuarial Services Company (formerly NBC Consulting) and Britam and has received industrial recognition for his various contributions.
He holds an MSc. in Information Systems Security from the Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems Security from the Cambridge Association of Managers and a BSc. in Computing from the University of Portsmouth.
He has a passion for environmentally sustainable projects and very keen on empowering people and has contributed towards the adoption of clean energy as well as technology for improvement of business processes in the region.
Tony also has a keen interest in writing on leadership is a published author, with 9 titles to his name, including From the Cradle to the Cradle, Not Without My Water Pot, A Day at the Market, The Traveller, My Little-Big Animal Colouring Book, Eeney Meeney Money & More, 100 African Folk Stories, What About My Data? and The 8th Day of the Week.
